The creation of Clos Lagadoue

At first, there was nothing but ruins. An old pigsty, with no floor tiles, overgrown with vegetation and exposed to the elements. It was hard to imagine that it would one day become a warm and welcoming space.

The first few months were spent making the building habitable: complete excavation of the exterior, consolidation of the walls, creation of a floor slab and a floor to restore a solid structure. Each step was an adventure, always guided by the conviction that this place had a second life to offer.

We chose to make this renovation as sustainable as possible. Insulation designed to limit energy consumption, environmentally friendly materials, consideration of sunlight and air circulation to make better use of natural resources.

Two years and a few grey hairs later, the result exceeds our expectations: a place that is both authentic and modern, where every stone tells its own story, but where every renovation choice also reflects today's climate and ecological challenges.
