Le Clos Lagadoue
As lovers of old buildings, we renovated this dilapidated barn to create a home where family and friends could gather.
After two years of work, the barn was transformed into a light-filled, minimalist and spacious home.
Le Clos Lagadoue is now a luxury holiday home that can accommodate up to 14 guests, ideally located in the unspoilt village of Champeaux, in the heart of the picturesque bay of Mont Saint-Michel.
Its privileged location makes it an ideal place to explore the bay and its surrounding countryside on foot.
The beaches of Carolles, Saint Jean le Thomas and Sol Roc are also nearby for those who enjoy shellfish gathering and seaside activities.
Our environmental commitment
Beyond comfort, we wanted to make this place a space that respects nature and its balance. Every action and every choice has been designed to reduce our impact and promote biodiversity:

Preserving biodiversity: several fruit trees have already been planted and a hedge project is underway to provide a refuge for local wildlife and strengthen the natural balance. Mowing of the grounds is deliberately reduced to allow the flora to flourish and welcome more insects and small animals.

Managing resources responsibly: compost is available on site to recycle organic waste. Rainwater is collected for watering the garden, and a Berkey filter limits the use of plastic bottles.

Combining comfort and energy efficiency: the property is heated and supplied with hot water by a high-performance heat pump. All windows are double-glazed, ensuring insulation and comfort. The property also benefits from wood wool insulation in the walls and a mixture of cotton, linen and jute in the roof, a natural and effective solution that improves guest comfort while reducing energy requirements.

Prioritising simplicity and the circular economy: the carefully selected décor and furniture give objects a second life rather than resorting to buying new. Recycling bins are also available to encourage a more respectful and responsible lifestyle.
